Folktandvården Sofia is a modern dental clinic located in a beautiful cultural building about a 10-minute walk from the central station and the center of Örebro. The clinic has seven treatment rooms that were refurbished during the years 2020-2021 in bright fresh colors, creating a lovely atmosphere combined with old charm. The clinic is well-equipped with digital technology as we regularly work with digital healthcare meetings and also digital consultations. We work with digital impressions and modern technology.

We have about 25 employees and a patient group of over 9000 patients with an even distribution between children and adults. Here at Folktandvården Sofia, you as a dental hygienist can work with the full breadth of your competence and have great opportunities for development within the profession.

Folktandvården Region Örebro län actively works with preventive dental care and Frisktandvård, all to ensure that our residents have the best oral health possible. We offer dental care at 21 general dental clinics and 8 specialist dental clinics, we conduct public health initiatives, have a dental laboratory, and an education and research unit closely linked to Örebro University. A total of about 550 employees work within Folktandvården Region Örebro län.

As a dental hygienist, you meet patients of all ages. The main task is the important preventive dental care as well as the diagnosis and treatment of caries and periodontitis. You actively work with our concept for Frisktandvård. We continuously develop new working methods for the sake of our patients. For example, we work in different types of collaboration shifts where the goal is always the best for the patient.

In your role as a dental hygienist, you are an important part of the team together with dentists and dental nurses. Holding responsibility and selflessly supporting and mentoring colleagues is something we see as natural. We highly value a good working environment and enjoying each other's company.

You are a licensed dental hygienist. Experience in pediatric and adult dental care is an advantage. You master the Swedish language and express yourself well in speech and writing. We work in the Frenda journal system. We place great importance on personal qualities. As a person, you are flexible and used to handling many different responsibilities. You can take initiative and have good collaboration skills.
