The general psychiatric reception in Hallsberg is a specialist activity within the Health and Medical Care Administration that offers specialized care for mental illness. The catchment area is western Örebro County. Our mission is to investigate, treat, and rehabilitate individuals referred to our unit via referral, or who seek help and support on their own through self-referral.

We are a well-functioning unit with about 20 employees. Treatment and psychoeducational interventions take place both individually and in groups, as well as through digital reception. The work environment is important to us, and we continuously invest in improvement. Continuous development of methods, processes, and working methods has a natural place in our operations, as does supervision of students and new colleagues.

The outpatient care of general psychiatry is part of the general psychiatry area. Our general psychiatric receptions are located in Hallsberg, Karlskoga, Lindesberg, and Örebro. Specialized receptions for, for example, electroconvulsive therapy, affective disorders, neuropsychiatric assessments, deaf psychiatry, and gender dysphoria are available in Örebro. We work with both individual and group treatment, as well as both planned and acute visits and telephone counseling. Rehabilitation is part of our work, as are mobile interventions through our specialist psychiatric care teams (SPOT) and patient and relative education. Together, we work with common processes and goals. We work in multidisciplinary teams based on a holistic view of the individual and adapt our care interventions to the patient's needs and circumstances. We strive to promote the involvement of relatives in the care.

Caregiver for the general psychiatric reception in HallsbergJob Responsibilities

You will work both independently and in teams with other professionals in care and treatment work. You provide support and advice and participate in the rehabilitation of patients. The work involves a lot of supporting and motivating patients to engage in change efforts to manage their daily lives and the path to a more independent life. You can identify and actively prevent health risks and, if necessary, motivate changes in lifestyle to promote, prevent, or restore health. Examples of tasks include various types of conversations, planning the patient's care, collaborating with other actors around the patient, assisting with medication follow-up, some sampling, and handling cases in 1177.

Relatives and other partners are important to us to provide the patient with the best possible conditions during their care and before discharge.

As we in Psychiatry care for our patients and value patient safety highly, we will request extracts from the suspicion and criminal records from the National Police Board during the recruitment process. Qualifications

We welcome you who are a trained caregiver/nursing assistant, preferably with a focus on psychiatry according to the upper secondary school Health and Care program. You may also have completed caregiver training as a YH education. To assess employability, transcripts from your healthcare education and proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare of protected professional title must be attached to your application.

Experience in psychiatry is an advantage, and great importance is placed on personal suitability. A B driver's license is required.
