About the position

As a nurse with us, you will be responsible for providing qualified care to our residents. You will perform medical treatments and work closely with our care teams to ensure a high level of care. The role also involves having nursing responsibilities for a number of our residents, which includes guiding in nursing, health, and medical tasks. With us, you will have many colleagues who work closely with occupational therapists, nursing staff, administrators, and unit managers to provide our residents and patients with a meaningful everyday life.

Adolfsbergshemmet consists of eight departments, half focusing on somatic care and half on elderly psychiatry.

Examples of tasks:

• decide, implement, and follow up on nursing measures
• be responsible for training and guidance in nursing
• instruct and delegate health and medical tasks to nursing staff
• maintain contact with relatives and provide support to them
• document in various quality registers and operational systems

About the workplace

Adolfsbergshemmet is a special accommodation for the elderly in Adolfsberg, just outside Örebro city center. The accommodation is beautifully located close to nature, a health center, pharmacy, lunch service, and bus stop.

As a nurse at Adolfsbergshemmet, you will be part of the Health and Medical Care Organization (HS). All nurses and occupational therapists within the municipality's special accommodations work under the same organization to create better conditions, equal care, and safeguard Örebro municipality's health and medical resources. For you as a nurse, this also means that you will have a manager who is a licensed professional and is therefore well versed in the issues you face in your work.

Qualifications

As a nurse, you are confident in yourself and have good self-awareness. You enjoy having your own areas of responsibility and take responsibility for your tasks in an independent and structured manner. Being attentive and accommodating in your approach, both towards colleagues and residents/customers/patients, is a given for you. You are clear in your communication and have the ability to ensure that information gets through. Additionally, you easily adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities and solutions in what you face. Furthermore, you master the Swedish language in a way that allows you to communicate with residents/customers/patients and other staff, as well as document what the business requires. Since the work involves digital documentation in operational systems, good computer skills are required.

• licensed nurse
• driver's license B

Meritorious:

• experience working as a nurse
• experience working in operational systems such as Lifecare, Pascal, and Senior Alert
