About the position

As a nursing assistant with us, you have a coordinated responsibility for support, service, and care in everyday life. The work you do is meaningful because you are close to people and provide support that makes a difference. We meet clients in their homes, always respecting the individual’s needs and wishes. Together with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals, you ensure a safe and dignified everyday life for each individual. With us, you will work with supportive and experienced colleagues. We invest in learning and new working methods, so you will have the opportunity to develop in your professional role.

Examples of tasks:

• Care and medication management based on delegation
• Service tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping
• Collaboration with nurses, occupational therapists, and relatives
• Establishing and following up on action plans together with the client

About the workplace

We have about 40 employees and provide support to approximately 300 clients in northern Örebro and the Norrcity area. We get around by bike, sometimes in sunshine, sometimes in rain, but always with the same goal: that our clients should feel safe, have quality of life, and be involved.

We are currently facing an exciting move to Hälsokvarteret Wadköping on Wadköpingsvägen 34, where we will move in together with two other home care units and Home Healthcare (HSV). This gives us even better opportunities for collaboration across unit boundaries, closer contact between different professional groups, and a work environment that is adapted for the future of care and support. Qualifications

As a nursing assistant with us, you are a secure and stable person. You have the ability to meet clients in a professional manner by being calm, attentive, and accommodating in your approach. Taking responsibility for your tasks is a given for you. You collaborate well with others and relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner. Furthermore, you have a positive view of people with great respect for each individual’s needs. You also find it easy to adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes. You master the Swedish language in such a way that you can communicate with clients and other staff, as well as document what the business requires in writing. Since the work involves digital documentation in operational systems, good computer skills are required.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• proof of protected professional title, or be covered by the transition regulations (permanent nursing assistant employed on July 1, 2023)
• ability to cycle

• experience working in care and support
• experience working in documentation and operational systems

Start date: by agreement

Working hours: scheduled day, evening, and every other weekend

Other information

As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means that you will need proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare to be employed as a nursing assistant. While waiting for your proof, it is possible to be employed as a care assistant. However, if you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023, you can continue to use the title.
