The outpatient care of general psychiatry is part of the general psychiatry operational area. Our general psychiatric clinics are located in Hallsberg, Karlskoga, Lindesberg, and Örebro. Specialized clinics for, for example, ECT treatment, affective disorders, neuropsychiatric assessments, deaf psychiatry, and gender dysphoria are located in Örebro. We work with both individual and group therapy as well as planned and acute visits and telephone advice. Rehabilitation is part of our work, as are mobile interventions through our specialist psychiatric care teams (SPOT) and patient and relative education. Together, we work with common processes and goals. We work in multiprofessional teams based on a holistic view of the individual and adapt care interventions to the patient's needs and conditions. We strive to promote the involvement of relatives in care.
