JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a nursing assistant in home care, you play an important role in direct contact with our clients, providing personal care and service tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
The work also includes medical and rehabilitative interventions such as dressings and medication administration, as well as digital documentation. The work is carried out with great consideration for each client's individual needs. We work with fixed care contacts, which means you will have primary responsibility for some of the clients. You will be part of a workgroup consisting of both nursing assistants and care assistants.
You contribute positively to the development of the organization in close collaboration with your manager and colleagues. In line with the new Social Services Act 2025, we appreciate your interest in working preventively and knowledge-based.
Work is scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends. Most tasks are performed in the client's home, which you reach by walking, cycling, or driving.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has completed the upper secondary care program or equivalent and is a nursing assistant.
You should also:
- have good IT skills, meaning you are comfortable using a computer/tablet to document, report, and read emails as required by the organization.
- master the Swedish language so that you can communicate both verbally and in writing with clients, colleagues, and relatives as required by the organization.
- have a B driver's license and driving experience.
It is an advantage if you have previously worked in care.
The job as a nursing assistant requires you to be able to structure your work and follow routines and implementation plans while being self-assured and able to adapt and find solutions during the day as things constantly happen in our organization.
You work with people who need our care, and it is important that you have the ability to empathize with others, are attentive, and show consideration and respect towards those around you. We are a team working to ensure that clients receive the care they have been granted, and you, together with your colleagues, should find solutions to ensure that tasks are carried out as well as possible.
