Your Responsibilities

As a lead teacher with us, you will play a central role in driving the school’s pedagogical development. You will lead and support collegial learning to create long-term and sustainable school development.

Together with the school leadership and other lead teachers, you will contribute to shaping the pedagogical leadership at the school, supported by current research and proven experience. You will also participate in the municipality's network for lead teachers, where you will have the opportunity to influence and develop the entire municipality's educational activities.

You will belong to a work team, F-3, where you, together with other educators, are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the activities. You will work alongside two F-3 teachers and teachers in after-school care with students in one grade.

You will be responsible for teaching and planning in your subjects. Mentorship is included in the position.

You will follow up on students' learning, development, and goal fulfillment individually and together with the work team and the school's student health team. You will actively participate in the school's and work team's common tasks and be generous and curious, contributing your ideas, experiences, and engagement.

Who are you?

You are a certified teacher for teaching in grades F-3 and have at least four years of experience working as a teacher. As a leader, you are clear and have an easy time building good, positive relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.

You see school development as a natural part of your work. You have a desire to develop in your work and are well-versed in the school’s governing documents.

As a person, you work well with others, are creative and proactive, and at the same time structured. You are calm and stable and have a flexible working style. You easily adapt to changing circumstances and take great responsibility for your tasks.

We want you to see opportunities in changes and have a positive and accommodating attitude. The work also requires pedagogical insight to meet students in need of special support, and developed knowledge about approaches that promote students' knowledge and development.
