Are you looking for a workplace characterized by collegial cohesion where colleagues support each other and have fun together? Do you also have an interest in development, learning, and habilitation? Then this could be the right position for you!

The work of habilitation is based on the values of equality for all people, the inherent strength of every individual, the right to privacy and self-determination, and the right of all children to express their opinions.

We cater to individuals over the age of 18 with permanent disabilities such as intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or mobility impairments. The operations are conducted in accordance with the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). We also reach out to relatives as well as staff and assistants.

The habilitation clinic is a specialist operation with 25 employees divided into different professional categories. Here, we engage in interdisciplinary teamwork alongside social workers, speech therapists, psychologists, physiotherapists, special educators, and occupational therapists. We work person-centered with the goal that each individual patient achieves a better functioning everyday life. Our work includes contact with relatives and staff as well as collaboration with authorities and other stakeholders.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As one of our colleagues is going on parental leave, we are now looking for a social worker for a temporary position with us!

You will be part of our dedicated and wonderful habilitation team and become one of several social workers in Lund. In the role of social worker, you will work from a psychosocial perspective and provide support, advice, and education based on the patient's disability and its consequences in everyday life. Planning is done together with the patient and, if necessary, their network. A large part of the work is carried out in the form of individual support conversations as well as in group activities and through guidance to the patient's network.

As a new employee, your employment will begin with an introductory program tailored to your knowledge and previous experience. In your new role, you will be assigned a supervisor who will follow you in your work. We offer you the opportunity to be part of an interdisciplinary team with good camaraderie, flexible working hours, and wellness benefits. Furthermore, you have great opportunities to shape and influence your work as well as good opportunities to contribute to the development of the operations at the unit and at the regional level.

The position is a temporary one with the last employment date being October 31, 2026. Work is full-time with working hours scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 16:30. The position involves home and workplace visits.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. If you are also a licensed health and medical care social worker, this is considered an advantage. If you belong to a licensed professional group, proficiency in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. For non-licensed professions, good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is required. Since the position involves home and workplace visits, it is important that you have a valid B driver's license. Additionally, you are a proficient computer user and have experience documenting in our data journal systems. We would prefer that you have previous experience with the target group, but this is not a requirement.

As a person, you are responsible and possess good communication and collaboration skills. The work requires your independence, flexibility, and ability to prioritize as the pace can be high at times. Since we work in an interdisciplinary team, interest and experience in teamwork are valuable. When filling the position, great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

An extract from the suspicion and criminal records will be made before any employment.

In this recruitment, we apply continuous selection. We warmly welcome your application!
