JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a social worker who enjoys the breadth of social work. In our reception unit, we work to create good first encounters. We provide advice and support and focus on information, collaboration, and being easily accessible. It is important for us that social work occurs where it is needed and that we contribute with information and knowledge while spreading the prerequisites for reports, applications, and social services' work. We receive concerns and requests for support for both adults and children and are the first contact into social services' authority but can also refer directly to our open care or other instances when deemed more appropriate. We also provide LUL opinions, participate in police interviews, and are responsible for youth service. Occasionally, we also have the opportunity to confirm simple paternity.

We are currently facing many changes with a new social services law where we want to be an important part of the preventive and early work. Together with you, we will work to create a social service and reception with participation and knowledge that reaches people in time and before we are needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

You enjoy broad social work and meeting and collaborating with people. You want to work early and have the ability to see opportunities. You have experience in authority work and are confident in the possibilities of social services, where experience in authority work with children and youth, adults, and violence in close relationships is relevant. You can speak in front of others and clarify the work of social services. You understand relationship patterns and have the ability to meet people calmly and create good relationships and collaborations. It is advantageous if you have training in BBIC, solution-focused conversation methods, knowledge-based training, and experience with child conversations and child/youth groups. It is also advantageous if you have knowledge of child and youth development, substance abuse, and various social challenges. You need to understand both children and youth perspectives as well as the conditions our citizens are in.

As a person, you are secure in yourself, curious, proactive, and have a strong interest in social work. You keep yourself updated on legislative conditions where we now have changed opportunities. You must be able to express yourself well in speech and writing and have good communication skills. You can establish and maintain good relationships and create collaboration platforms.

A driver's license is required.
