Support Assistant for the Function Support Unit in Trelleborg

In Trelleborg, we work together for a growing successful community where life is good. Our 61 villages and 21 districts are creative meeting places that bubble with life. Here we want to do things, tell about them, and come just as we are. This makes us welcome others in the same generous and curious way.

Welcome to take your place on the journey!

The Social Administration's mission is to work with social services and provide support so that everyone in the municipality feels safe and has the same opportunities in life. We want everyone to be able to be active and involved in society. With a focus on respect for the individual's right to decide over their own life, we are responsible for three important areas: care and support, assistance for people with disabilities, and help for individuals and families. Our goal is for everyone to receive the support and care they need.

Join the Function Support's journey to become Sweden's best LSS!

The Function Support department is divided into three units: the authority unit, the particularly resource-intensive unit, and the traditional unit.

We are now looking for a support assistant for the unit that works with individuals with high support needs, the particularly resource-intensive unit. We are looking for someone who has a sense for meeting the individual and has the ability to work in a structured manner and create a calm, safe environment for our residents.

The workplace is located in a modern residence built for this purpose. The target group is group 1 within LSS, which includes individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, or autism-like conditions. There are often additional diagnoses and behavioral difficulties.

The residence is well thought out and physically designed to be stress-reducing in the daily lives of the users. There are spaces for both privacy and a socially developing environment and it is also planned for a high staff ratio. The outdoor environments are adapted for the target group with walking paths and various activity areas.

The group home and workplace are located just outside Trelleborg's urban area. The easiest way to get to and from the workplace is by car.

With us, you thrive if you have the ability to see and understand the individual you work for, their mood and needs, and if you can support this through the structure that benefits them.

What we can offer you

  • Modern group home as your workplace
  • Structured working methods and work environment
  • Internal professional development
  • Municipal-wide benefits
  • The best colleagues
