Case Management, Customer Contact, and Teamwork

As a claims officer, you have an important mission: to help citizens ensure that the right person receives the right compensation at the right time. You provide individuals with the means to have an overview and feel secure in all interactions with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. Each individual has a unique situation that needs to be addressed based on their specific needs. In your work, you are responsible for conducting investigations based on applicable regulations. You calculate and make decisions regarding compensation when applicable. You have daily contact with applicants and insured individuals both in writing and by phone. Part of your work involves answering incoming calls where you identify needs and provide general and specific information. Your work also includes informing and providing support in our self-service solutions. The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you have a strong sense of security awareness.

Within parental insurance, you will handle parental benefits, temporary parental benefits, and determine the income on which the compensation is based. The case management is conducted in an automated system as the application process often occurs via the web. Through the system, cases that need to be supplemented or further processed before a decision is assigned. Your case management may depend on external actors such as employers, schools, and authorities. The work is performed independently with the support of active teamwork.

The position involves being scheduled in customer service to some extent. Here, you will answer questions and manage cases from calling customers.

We are looking for someone who

  • has a high school diploma or equivalent experience and qualifications
  • is service-oriented
  • has a systematic and meticulous working method
  • is stable and can maintain energy even in stressful situations
  • is results-oriented and wants to achieve set goals
  • collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
  • has good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • has the ability to manage IT systems in effective workflows.

It is an advantage if you have

  • experience working with customer meetings in a fast-paced and varied environment
  • feel comfortable communicating in both Swedish and English
  • experience in results and goal-oriented operations
  • experience making independent decisions in work that affects other individuals
  • experience providing information to customers based on guidelines or current legislation
  • an aptitude for understanding, remembering, and interpreting numbers and enjoy calculating and compiling according to established templates

6 positions, permanent, full-time, starting April 7th. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. Remote work opportunities are available if the work allows.
