Job Responsibilities

We offer an interesting, responsible, developing, and varied job as an acting judge.

As an acting judge, you will work with many different types of cases and independently manage your case load. As the responsible judge, you will decide cases both in full court and on your own. You will also mentor clerks and collaborate with other judges, prosecutors, legal advisors, clerks, and court administrators under the leadership of the chief judge.

Together with other staff, you will work to ensure that the administrative court's cases are resolved quickly, fairly, and with high quality.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a highly skilled lawyer. The requirements mean that you should also be a person who shows commitment, is flexible, has a high work capacity, and is proactive in case management. You should also have excellent collaboration skills and contribute to a pleasant workplace. We expect you to be interested in and capable of applying active mentorship. Additionally, we assume that you have very good communication skills.

You who apply should have experience as a member or prosecutor in an administrative court or appellate court, or have performed the duties of an appellate prosecutor for at least six months. Otherwise, you should meet the requirements set out in the Judicial Appointment Committee's profile for regular judges (link (https://www.domstol.se/globalassets/filer/domstol/domarnamnden/kravprofil-ordinarie-domare.pdf)).

The Administrative Court has over 50 employees and is centrally located by the shores of Munksjö in Jönköping. We are co-located with the Jönköping District Court. Jönköping is a vibrant and active city with beautiful natural areas nearby and a wide range of entertainment, restaurants, and cultural experiences. The Administrative Court in Jönköping is a court that continuously works on organizational issues and the development of work methods. We have a fully digital processing system. We also continuously work on workplace environment issues to promote and ensure a good working environment. At the Administrative Court, we have an active wellness group and an engaged staff association. There are also opportunities for remote work to some extent. The overarching goal for the court's work in these areas is to be a modern and attractive workplace for our engaged, responsible, and participative employees.

Additional Information

The position is a fixed-term employment for 6 months or until August 31 at the latest, full-time, with a start date according to agreement.
