VUAB is a family-owned company founded in 1974 in Jönköping. Today, the company has its main operations in Jönköping/Torsvik. With nearly 50 years of experience in energy solutions, the business has embarked on an exciting journey by meeting various industries and their unique needs. Vuab delivers complete bioenergy plants for process steam, production, and heating primarily within the industry. Vuab is currently an important player in the effort to make Swedish industry fossil-free.

Who are you?

To thrive in this role, you need to be structured and independent. You see what needs to be done and take your own initiative to move forward in your work. We are looking for someone with several years of experience in independent work with qualified accounting and financial statements, or someone who feels comfortable taking on greater responsibility, as you will be the sole accountant in the company. The assignment requires you to quickly familiarize yourself with routines and systems and to be confident in working independently while closely collaborating with colleagues in other departments.

To succeed in this role, you should also have experience working in Excel and the ability to analyze data. It is an advantage if you are familiar with the business system Jeeves.

Some of your tasks

· Ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations

· Qualified accounting work

· Monthly financial statements

· Handle VAT reporting and related reconciliations

· Cash flow planning

· Accounts payable and receivable

· Progressive profit recognition/ Project accounting

· Some payroll preparation and follow-up

· Annual financial statements

This is a temporary position for about 1 year and a full-time role. Start date in February, by agreement. Interviews and selection will be ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
