Volunteer Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

In the role of Volunteer Coordinator, you work together with colleagues to coordinate and administer volunteer assignments, develop and engage volunteer efforts, and support and inspire volunteers in their tasks along the way, from start to finish. You are the spider in the web and ensure that the logistics surrounding all volunteer efforts work both socially and practically. You collaborate on overarching issues to create added value for volunteers and participants by contributing new ideas, perspectives, your enthusiasm, and energy.

The work includes scheduled duties during the day, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

You have post-secondary education that the employer deems relevant for the position and documented experience working with people in creative processes, preferably in project form. To succeed in the assignment, you are relationship-building and, in a pedagogical way, encourage participation and engagement while adapting your communication to the recipient, target group, and situation.

With your approach, you show respect and consideration, starting from everyone's equal value, and you create a good atmosphere in the workplace with an open and positive attitude towards both colleagues and visitors.

You are adaptable and can adjust your working methods based on changed conditions and new information, as you are solution-focused and can quickly adjust when the situation requires it.

You are accustomed to digital work and have good knowledge of the Office suite and a B driver's license.
