Social Worker/Social Pedagogue

Södermanland County based in Katrineholm. Located in a consolidated area with minimal travel.

We expect you to have relevant post-secondary education in fields such as behavioral science, psychiatry, or pedagogy. A degree as a Social Worker or trained Social Pedagogue (400YH or 120-180HP, no distance education) is a REQUIREMENT. Work experience from similar assignments is an advantage.

It is beneficial if you are accustomed to working with children.

We are looking for a self-driven and flexible contact person/support worker with commitment and a positive demeanor for our operations in Södermanland.

Job Responsibilities: As a support worker, you will be available to guide and provide security through individual support in everyday life. You will be the contact person for several clients whom you meet regularly, both adults and children. All practical support as well as conversational support. Conversational support may include trauma treatment, crisis management, and discussions regarding violence/situations for increased understanding. Practical support may include transportation, contact with authorities, medical visits, identifying employment opportunities such as internships or jobs, and promoting good health through exercise. Empower individuals living in our apartments to have increased confidence in their own abilities and greater independence.

Administrative tasks such as social documentation and the establishment of action plans.
