About the Position

As a production planner, you will work closely with the business and play a central role in creating efficient flows, good foresight, and well-planned production. You will be part of a team of three people working with production and material planning, and you will be an important link between the customer, internal functions, and production.

This is a consulting assignment through us – with good opportunities for further development for the right person.

Responsibilities

Your focus in the role includes:

  • Leading projects within planning and IT to strengthen the value flow and simplify work processes.
  • Being responsible for the daily scheduling of customer orders in the business system and planning calendar.
  • Maintaining good customer contact and optimizing production capacity.
  • Participating in planning meetings with customers and internal departments.
  • Updating customer-specific working time systems (annual working time, schedules, and follow-up).
  • Participating in projects and being responsible for the parts related to product planning.
  • In consultation with product preparation, ensuring that changes are planned in a timely manner for production in Uddevalla and for the end customer.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in production planning and documented knowledge of working in business systems. Meritorious: experience with ERP-LN.
  • Technical or economic education, or equivalent work experience.
  • Good knowledge of project management – preferably within logistics, planning, or IT.
  • Good understanding of LEAN production.
  • Excellent skills in Excel.
  • Good language skills in both Swedish and English.
  • Experience from the automotive industry is a plus.

Personal Qualities

You are a positive team player who thrives in a team where everyone supports each other. At the same time, you are self-driven, structured, and meticulous – with a natural eye for detail.

You have an ability to see the bigger picture and understand how different parts of the process affect each other. Communication is one of your strengths, and you build trust in both internal and external relationships.

You have previously worked in cross-functional and multicultural organizations and are comfortable in environments where change is a natural part of everyday life. You are proactive, have a clear can-do attitude, and are driven by continuous improvement.

In pressured situations, you prioritize wisely and make decisions with a holistic perspective.

We Offer

  • A developing consulting assignment with one of our clients.
  • A role where you have significant responsibility and the opportunity to influence.
  • A workplace that values diversity, inclusion, and different backgrounds.
  • Working hours: daytime, Monday–Friday.
  • Start date: by agreement.
