About the Position

Tjörn Municipality is seeking an experienced local coordinator to drive local coordination and local projects!

An exciting position that suits you who have several years of experience in local coordination or similar. To succeed in this role, you need to have relevant higher education or equivalent knowledge gained from working in a similar role. Tjörn is an expanding and exciting municipality that has several interesting assignments in the pipeline for the coming years.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of local coordinator, you need to have a solid interest in both people and properties, a high understanding of local supply and local projects, good knowledge of rental law, and the ability to independently drive projects and make decisions. You also need to be communicative, clear, and have the ability to build good relationships both internally and externally.

You will be placed in the Property Department, which is one of the departments within the municipal executive office. Your assignments may span several of the municipality's administrations.

You will work closely with the municipality's other local coordinators, property managers, construction project managers, the finance department, and other functions within the municipality.

You will be responsible for both small and large projects within various types of properties such as different types of elderly care homes, LSS housing, preschools, primary schools, cultural buildings, etc.

You should be able to lead, plan, and follow up on projects to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, budget, quality, and environmental standards. As a local coordinator, you are responsible for ongoing monitoring of timelines and budgets, reporting, and the final outcome. Within the framework of the projects, you should be able to propose action alternatives and clearly communicate information about the projects to others.

You will also be involved in the development of the administrations' annual local needs analyses and local needs plans, which are part of the municipality's joint local supply plan.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree or equivalent in property management, economics, or similar, or another background that the employer considers equivalent.

Requirements:

• Several years of documented experience as a local coordinator or equivalent
• Several years of experience in property-related tasks
• Several years of experience in municipal administration
• Good knowledge and experience in procurement through LOU
