Care Assistant at Forsgården Care and Nursing Home

Your Mission
In the role of care assistant, you will primarily work with care and support in the daily lives of the residents.
This includes personal hygiene, laundry, cleaning, and participation in various social activities. Documentation and the establishment and follow-up of care plans are part of the job. You will also perform health care tasks according to delegation. The work is team-based, where you and your colleagues ensure that residents receive their approved services in the best possible way.
The working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts according to a rotating schedule. You are expected to be flexible and able to work throughout the facility.
Workplace Description
Forsgården is a care and nursing home with 30 places for people with dementia, distributed across three departments.
Your Competence
We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant and has a genuine interest in working with people, with a focus on the residents. It is an advantage if you have previously worked with elderly care, and it is meritorious if you have prior experience in dementia care.
The work requires documentation and communication, therefore you must be proficient in the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Some computer skills are also desirable.
As a person, you are self-driven and have the ability to take initiative and drive your work forward. You are flexible and can adapt to changes and new situations. With good teamwork skills, you contribute to a positive team spirit, while also being structured and planning your work effectively to achieve set goals. Finally, you have the ability to see the bigger picture and understand how different parts are interconnected to contribute to the overall goals of the organization.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
