Support Educator Wanted at Mo Gård LSS in Nyköping

We are now looking for someone with previous experience in LSS who wants to work as a support educator at one of our units within Mo Gård LSS in Nyköping!

If you have previous experience in LSS and want to work as a support educator in an organization where the individual's needs are in focus, then this could be the right position for you!

We are currently seeking someone who wants to become part of our team at one of our units in Nyköping: Svalsta, Växthusgränd, or Berguven.

We also have daily activities in Nyköping. Work at Mo Gård is varied, eventful, and developmental – no day is like the other. With us, you work in a unique and sign language environment where we together create a meaningful everyday life for the individuals.

About the Role

As a support educator, you will work with the unit manager and special educator to ensure that the staff group has good knowledge and ability to perform interventions according to LSS for the individuals in the unit. You will be an active part of the workgroup and participate in the daily work close to the individual. Your task is to ensure the various steps of the operational process such as planning, implementation, and evaluation/follow-up. You will work to ensure that laws and regulations are followed regarding documentation and quality assurance of methods and working methods in the unit. The role also includes providing support and guidance to staff in realizing implementation plans in the practical work with the individual.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who has a higher vocational education as a support educator and experience working with individuals with intellectual or neuropsychiatric disabilities. You have good knowledge of LSS and are confident in documenting and working in a structured manner. Since we work in a sign language environment, we would prefer that you have knowledge of – or an interest in – sign language. If you also have experience or interest in ICT, that is a merit.

Employment

We offer a permanent position with a six-month probation period and individual salary setting. Start date is according to agreement. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, weekends, and nights/on-call. To be considered for the position, you need to be able to present a criminal record extract, have a valid Swedish work permit, and hold a B driver's license. Our recruitment process also includes psychological tests.
