In Sweden, approximately 2,100 dedicated employees work. Our Nordic headquarters is located in Malmö. In Sweden, we deliver electricity, heat, and smart energy solutions to over one million households and businesses. E.ON's role is to take responsibility and drive development forward, enabling more people to transition. With our investments and our customers' willingness to contribute, we work to continue electrifying society and meet future energy needs.

Welcome to E.ON – and become part of the energy transition. In collaboration with our customers and partners, we ensure that electricity and heat are produced, used, and recycled smarter. If you have passion and believe in the power of working together, E.ON is the place for you.

About us
At E.ON, we drive real change. We work to create a safe, fossil-free, and sustainable energy future for people, businesses, and communities. Here, you will encounter a culture characterized by courage, care, and curiosity – where we challenge old ways of working, take responsibility for the whole, and build the future together.

The Portfolio Management Office (PMO) is part of Business Transformation and is responsible for governance models, portfolio work, and development processes for the organization's development portfolio. We are in an exciting phase where we strengthen structure, clarity, and common ways of working, and here you will play a central role together with your five colleagues in the team.

About the position
As a Portfolio Manager, you will have an operationally close, strategic, and broad role where you become a driving force in developing and maintaining our portfolio management. You will work across the organization and support programs and business units with both structure and analysis. The role involves close dialogue with many contact points, where your ability to build trust, challenge, and contribute to clarity will be central.

You will, among other things:

  • Lead and develop portfolio management processes and our strategic roadmap

  • Support programs with prioritization, follow-up, and resource planning

  • Contribute to financial follow-up and profitability analysis for the portfolio

  • Drive change management related to our strategic initiatives and contribute to the development of governance models and processes

  • Ensure that the portfolio is continuously optimized and includes the latest ideas and developments while actively promoting our perspective within the group.

  • The role requires many contact points and a willingness to both dig into details and contribute with strategic direction.

Your experiences
To succeed in this role, we see that you have solid experience in portfolio management, project, and program management, preferably in combination with business development. You have a good understanding of how these parts are interconnected and how they together create long-term value. Financial follow-up is a natural part of your work, and you are comfortable analyzing profitability and making well-founded, data-driven decisions. We prefer that you have a background in engineering, project management, or a similar role where you have built your experience step by step. You express yourself fluently in Swedish and English and are comfortable navigating and building your networks in a complex organization with many contact points. Experience in business architecture or the Vintergatan model is considered an advantage.

You have the ability to think both strategically and operationally, and you thrive in the role of creating structure, identifying needs, and driving improvements. In change work, you are both attentive and clear, you dare to ask questions, challenge, and contribute to new perspectives. At E.ON, we see technology and innovation as a natural part of our everyday life. We believe that you are curious, eager to embrace new technology, and see changes as an opportunity to find smarter and more sustainable solutions. In this role, you take responsibility for creating progress and dare to find new ways to deliver results in a complex everyday life.

What is it like with us?
With us, you will meet an engaged team where ideas are welcomed, perspectives are given space, and where we are curious about each other's thoughts, close collaboration, and a lot of humor. We are in a phase where we are building structures, creating clarity, and challenging old ways of working – and we do it together. We work unpretentiously and are careful to create a safe and inclusive environment where everyone can contribute with their strengths.

Your manager Kajsa leads the team with trust, security, and clear frameworks and gives significant personal responsibility while supporting when needed. She is present as a sounding board and appreciates employees who take initiative, drive issues forward, and dare to both challenge and create clarity. Humor, care, and an inclusive culture are important parts of her leadership, and she values that the team has fun together while delivering quality and courage.

At E.ON, we actively work with inclusion - it is crucial to drive the energy transition forward. We want you to feel welcome! We strive to create a safe working environment with meaningful tasks and good opportunities for development. We continuously challenge ourselves to create a welcoming workplace, where we hope you will thrive.

We work for a more sustainable energy society, but it is equally important that our employees have the conditions to care for their personal sustainability. Therefore, we offer good benefits for you to feel good and have a good balance between work and leisure. Some of these include a shorter working time that is higher than the industry standard, health insurance, free medical care, and more!

Warm welcome to apply and join us on the path to a sustainable society! The application deadline is December 8.
