The National Cyber Security Center, NCSC, is looking for an incident manager to participate in building up the center's operations at FRA. Your Mission

As an incident manager at NCSC, you will participate in incident coordination and be responsible for conveying information between different parts of NCSC and other participating authorities. Your main tasks include:

  • Leading and being responsible for incoming incidents at NCSC by ensuring the coordination of work between various central functions. This work includes compiling communication regarding these incidents.
  • Working to develop incident processes within NCSC
  • Producing incident reports

You will also be involved in other work that takes place at NCSC, in order to be an effective representative for the office.

The work is conducted on-site at NCSC, with some possibility for remote work if the job permits. In the event of incidents, it may be required that you work irregular hours. You will have frequent contact with both internal and external stakeholders.

You Can

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A degree in political science, computer engineering, or another relevant field that includes project management, or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience.
  • Several years of work experience in incident management or from a role that the employer assesses as equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of IT and information security.
  • Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

We consider it an advantage if you have:

  • Certifications in the relevant field.
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite.

The mission of NCSC is to develop and strengthen Sweden's ability to prevent, detect, and manage cyber threats. NCSC is currently in an expansive development phase where you will have the opportunity to help build a central contact point for Sweden's cyber security. NCSC has been part of FRA since 2024.

More Information

The workplace is currently located in Tomteboda, Solna. In a few years, new premises will be ready in Bergshamra. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. A requirement for employment is a successful security screening with a background check. The security screening will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment entails an obligation to be placed in a military position.
