Overall Mission

As a project manager, you are the engine that transforms strategies into concrete results. You plan, lead, and develop projects within avionics, systems development, and IT - where every decision impacts performance, security, and business value.

You will work closely with technical leaders, systems engineers, and customers to ensure progress, quality, and profitability in the projects.

What You Will Do

• Drive complex technology and IT projects from initiation to delivery
• Lead cross-functional projects and create clarity in goals, roles, and expectations
• Ensure requirements management, system architecture, and integration between technology areas
• Identify risks, manage changes, and make well-informed decisions in a dynamic environment
• Enhance efficiency and learning by identifying areas for improvement and optimizing workflows
• Build and nurture relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Contribute to developing project management methodologies and processes within the organization

Who You Are

You are an experienced project manager with a natural ability to create structure, energy, and engagement in complex environments. You combine technical understanding with business acumen and communicative leadership.

We believe you have:

• Several years of experience leading technology or IT projects with many stakeholders
• Good understanding of systems development, requirements work, and integration in complex systems
• Strong communication skills - you build trust and clarity at all levels
• Ability to prioritize, analyze, and act with a holistic view
• Experience in risk and change management, budget and scheduling
• Experience from aviation, defense, automotive, or other safety-critical environments is a plus
• Relevant academic background, preferably in systems engineering, computer science, or equivalent is a plus

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
