At Gullviksborg Health Center, we are about 30 engaged and positive employees within the professional categories of doctors, nurses, district nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, psychologists, medical secretaries, occupational therapists, and more. The health center has several specialist clinics such as heart failure, hypertension, asthma/COPD, and diabetes. The Child Health Center (BVC) is located in the Family House Nydala. We work with team rounds according to the Alaska model. The Alaska model is a workplace reform that results in good and close care. The work team is divided into two cross-professional teams with different professions in each team where the patient is included in the team. You will become one of the key persons in the team. We are also a training place for students in various professional categories.

Gullviksborg Health Center is located in the southern urban area of Malmö with good public transport connections and close to the outer and inner ring road if you are driving. Parking is available for health center employees in close proximity to the center for a small fee. The health center has about 8,000 registered patients and the BVC has about 1,000 children registered. We work in fresh and pleasant premises where both we and our patients thrive.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcome to a workplace with varied workdays and great personal responsibility! Currently, there are four specialists in general medicine, licensed doctors, and ST doctors working at the clinic. We are now looking for a specialist doctor in general medicine who wants to become an important and long-term part of our continued development.

Your tasks include outpatient work with both acute and planned visits where you will be able to use your entire general medical competence.

We strive for high patient safety and continuity for both patients and doctors. We value good collaboration here at the health center and care about our employees' working environment.

The working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday, and there is an opportunity to work part-time for those who wish. We are responsive to your wishes regarding scheduling and personal development.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed doctor with the authority to operate within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have specialist competence in general medicine. Language skills in Swedish at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are a requirement. Experience working in primary care is an advantage. Likewise, we see experience working in PMO and Melior as advantageous.

Since you have a great interest in your profession, you enjoy monitoring the external environment and staying updated.
