JOB DESCRIPTION

Welcome to apply for an exciting and developing position with us at the authority within health and care!

We are 7 case officers, 3 LSS/social psychiatry officers, and 1 occupational therapist working at the authority together with the unit manager.

We are now looking for a temporary case officer to join our dedicated team.

As a case officer, you will work with the Social Services Act/SoL.

Our target group is municipal residents who need support according to current legislation. This may involve assistance in the home, short-term care, respite care, special housing, housing support, or other interventions.

Your tasks include investigating, making decisions, and following up on interventions according to the Social Services Act, as well as being responsible for information during the ongoing investigation. The work also includes providing information about the individual's responsibilities and working towards independence where possible.

The work is based on a holistic perspective regarding the individual and their needs at the center.

Working as a case officer involves meetings with different people, and therefore there are requirements for social skills, being attentive, and interested in creating good meetings. You enjoy meeting people, have a positive outlook, and possess good collaboration skills with your own drive. In meetings with applicants and their relatives, a good reception and a warm interest in working with people are prerequisites for succeeding in the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work, a degree from a social care program, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.

You have good knowledge of current legislation and case law in the area, as well as experience of authority exercise within SoL as a case officer. Experience with IBIC (individual's needs in focus) and working in "My Plans" in collaboration with the region and discharged citizens is an advantage.

The work requires you to have a high ability to collaborate while also being able to take responsibility for your tasks independently.

You should be able to plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively.

The work requires you to have a good ability to communicate clearly and trustworthily, both orally and in writing.

In addition to formal competence, great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

A valid driver's license is required.
