Production Planner

As a production planner, you will play a central role in an advanced and technology-driven organization where precision, structure, and efficiency are key. In the role of production planner, you will be responsible for production planning and inventory management from start to finish. You will act as the link between projects and production, ensuring that customer needs are translated into concrete plans. The work combines operational tasks with analysis and improvement work, where your ability to see the big picture and drive development will be crucial for success.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

The role involves planning and optimizing production schedules as well as managing material flows to ensure efficient production.

• Plan and follow up production to meet customer needs
• Create production orders and ensure material availability before production starts
• Provide input for resource planning and forecasts
• Manage order flows and customer contacts within operations
• Perform inventory management and stocktaking in SAP
• Convert customer documentation into internal formats
• Actively participate in improvement work focusing on LEAN, 5S, and VSM
• Initiate purchases of consumables

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a completed post-secondary education in logistics, production technology, or industrial economics
• Has experience working in ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Good knowledge of production, production planning, and purchasing
• Ability to manage and analyze large data sets and present results pedagogically

It is an advantage if you have:

• Understanding and interest in LEAN methods and principles (5S, VSM, continuous improvements)
