Service Area Manager Digital Workplace

We are now looking for you who want to help create the future digital workplace for our employees in the role of Service Area Manager Digital Workplace!

Responsibilities

As the Service Area Manager for Digital Workplaces, you will be part of Sollentuna Municipality's IT unit, which consists of about 30 employees with various areas of expertise.

The municipality's IT operations are outsourced to several external suppliers and organized into service areas with dedicated managers. Your focus area will be the digital workplace, where you will drive development and ensure that the solutions meet the needs of the organization.

You will work to manage and develop the service area operationally, tactically, and strategically, as well as be responsible for supplier collaboration and follow-up on the agreed deliveries. The role includes, among other things, setting requirements for suppliers, ensuring that documentation and procedures are in place, and driving development projects within the area. An important focus is also to ensure that the service area meets IT security requirements.

You will also be responsible for conducting procurements within the service area and will be involved in the budget work related to your area. The role also includes supporting others within IT and the operations with knowledge of how the services can be used, ordered, and disposed of.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

• A university degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, systems science, or equivalent knowledge through work experience.
• At least a couple of years of experience working with digital solutions and systems.
• Experience collaborating with external IT suppliers.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

We consider it an advantage if you also have knowledge and experience of outsourced IT operations and experience with support processes, ITIL, and PM3. Previous work with Digital Workplace and/or leading and coordinating projects and workgroups is also seen as an advantage.

Since the employment is placed in a security class, Swedish citizenship is required. For employment, a satisfactory result in the security screening with a background check is required, conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act.
