About the role

As a QA Tester, you will be a central part of the team – ensuring that Axis products are of the highest quality before they reach customers worldwide. It’s not just about finding bugs, but understanding the big picture, digging into the details, and creating smart testing solutions together with developers and other QA specialists.

You will work in all phases of product development, with both manual and automated testing. Here, you get to code, experiment, think, and challenge yourself. An experienced tester said it best:

"If you enjoy coding, you should become a tester – not a programmer!"

You will work with:

- System testing in both Windows and Linux environments

- Automated and manual testing, both scripted and exploratory

- Technologies such as networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Proxy) and test automation

- Close collaboration with development teams in an agile environment

Who are you?

- You are graduating in early 2026 with a degree in computer engineering, programming, IT, or another technical university education

- You are technically curious and enjoy understanding how things work – and how they can work better

- You are communicative and enjoy collaborating in a team

- You want to grow in QA and test automation

Previous experience in testing is a plus – but absolutely not a requirement. We value your drive and willingness to learn!

About the Gig

This is a consulting assignment via Gigstep where you will initially be employed by us, with the ambition to transition to a permanent position at Axis.
