About the role

As the Deputy Sales Manager for Grocery, you will play a key role in our grocery department – the heart of the store where product flow, assortment, and customer experience are the focus. You will work closely with our Sales Manager and drive both daily operations and development forward. Personnel responsibility and scheduling are included in the position.

Your mission

Drive the department's sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction forward.

Ensure an inspiring assortment, attractive displays, and fully stocked shelves.

Be a present and motivating leader for the team – you see potential, build team spirit, and help others grow.

Take responsibility for operations when the Sales Manager is not present – you are a natural role model that others look up to.

Work smart, structured, and solution-focused – you enjoy a fast-paced environment!

We are looking for someone who has

  • Documented experience in the grocery retail sector, preferably in a leadership role within grocery or a similar department
  • Good experience in personnel management – you have experience leading, coaching, and developing teams
  • Strong understanding of store economics – you work independently with key figures, profitability analysis, and assortment strategy
  • Very good planning and organizational skills – you can prioritize, follow up, and drive multiple processes simultaneously
  • Experience in campaign management, seasonal planning, and product flow
  • Business acumen and results-oriented – you are used to working towards clear goals and driving improvements
  • Good digital competence – you manage store systems such as AOB, Min Butik, or similar.
  • Communicative and clear leadership style – you create engagement, build trust, and have presence when needed. You are a natural leader.
  • Ability to work both operationally and strategically

Employment form
