Customer Receptionist at Technical Customer Reception in Skövde

The Technical Customer Reception is responsible for planning and ordering material maintenance at the local level for the Swedish Armed Forces. We assist our customers with technical support in various forms. Our customers are different types of units in the Skövde garrison.

About the Unit

The Logistics Unit (LogE) is responsible for the storage of combat units in the garrison on behalf of the garrison commander. The assignment includes material replenishment, mobilization and war placement, technical inspections and measures. LogE is responsible for a large part of the permitted activities conducted within the garrison on behalf of the garrison commander. The Technical Department (TekA) is part of the Logistics Unit, and TKM Skövde is one of two sections under TekA responsible for material planning at the local level for the Swedish Armed Forces and assists our customers with technical support in various forms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the customer interface for the Technical Customer Reception, contact with customers.
  • Create maintenance orders in PRIO/LIFT.
  • Follow up on actions taken by the maintenance provider (follow up on placed maintenance orders).
  • Conduct register maintenance and report material maintenance in the Armed Forces' IT support systems PRIO (SAP) and LIFT.
  • Monitor technical orders and follow up on these during maintenance orders, etc.
  • Monitor guidelines from the Technical Office/Operations Management.
  • Assist customers with troubleshooting or simpler repairs as needed.
  • Staff the reserve material depot and assist customers with reserve material orders.

The team you will be part of solves many different tasks where you will contribute with your expertise.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Vehicle technical education or other education or work experience deemed equivalent by the employer. Alternatively, experience as a customer receptionist or similar work.
  • Driver's license *B*

It is natural for you to be responsible, structured, meticulous, and have a good sense of order. You enjoy collaborating and have the ability to develop and maintain good relationships. DESIRABLE

  • Military driver's license for the most common vehicles: car-truck
  • Skills in the Armed Forces' IT support systems PRIO (SAP) and LIFT
  • Knowledge of DITO and MVIF
  • Forklift/Loader training
  • Driver's license *C*
  • Meet FM Basic Requirements regarding physical ability.

Employment type: Permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period.
Employment rate: Full-time. Normal working hours are 07:30 – 16:30, but inconvenient working hours may occur.
Work location: Skövde. Travel in service occurs for both work and personal training.

Skaraborg Regiment, P 4 has operations from Älvdalen in the north to Remmene in the south. The leadership is based in Skövde, where most of the conscription training takes place. The regiment's task is to recruit and train conscripts and personnel for two armored battalions, a heavy transport company, and a brigade reconnaissance company. P 4 is also responsible for a brigade staff that, in times of crisis and war, will lead large parts of the army's units.
