Job Advertisement: Case Officer for Energy and Housing Support

The County Administrative Board is the government's representative in the county and coordinates regional development efforts. We work on issues related to environmental and nature conservation, rural areas, urban planning, animal welfare, preparedness, gender equality, integration, and cultural heritage. The position is located in the Community Building Unit, where 23 people work primarily on issues related to housing, energy and climate transition, cultural heritage, infrastructure, GIS coordination, urban planning issues, and the administration of energy and housing support.

The work in the unit is conducted in close cooperation with the county's municipalities, government agencies, businesses, organizations, and citizens. The entire unit's work is based on legislation and specific government assignments.

Job Responsibilities

You will handle applications for support or grants as well as applications for disbursement of various energy and housing support. Currently, we are processing a grant for energy efficiency in single-family homes. Additionally, you will work with supervision of already granted support.

The administration of the various state supports or grants is conducted according to regulations in different ordinances decided by the government. The administration takes place in the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning's grant system Bofinc. You will work alongside other colleagues at the county administrative board and partially in collaboration with the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning, the Swedish Energy Agency, and case officers at other county administrative boards. The work involves a considerable amount of contact with the public and developers.

In addition to the above job responsibilities, other tasks within the agency's operations may occur.

Qualifications

You should have a university degree in a social science field or another education deemed suitable by the employer. You should have experience in handling support.

It is an advantage if you have worked at a county administrative board with tasks described in the advertisement.

You should be organized and structured, flexible, and service-oriented. You should have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. We see good collaboration skills and contributing to a positive work environment as prerequisites.
