About the Company

Kunskapsskolan in Jönköping is a primary school for grades 4–9 with approximately 200 students. Here, we work with a personalized education, clear goals, and continuous follow-up, creating a safe and study-focused environment where many students achieve high results in all subjects.

The student health team is a central support function and consists of a school nurse, school psychologist, counselor, and special educator/teacher – demonstrating our integrated and cross-professional approach.

Your Responsibilities

As a special educator with responsibility for the library in the mornings, you will step directly into the heart of the school's pedagogical work. You will conduct extensive pedagogical investigations using tools such as LOGOS and other assessment supports and create individualized action plans. Your mission is to shape accessible learning environments and ensure that all students receive the right support – with a particular focus on those students who have action plans.

In this role, you will be part of the school's student health team and work closely with teachers, guardians, and external actors. Collaboration and dialogue are central tools – where you will have the opportunity to work in both preventive and remedial support situations. The library responsibility means that you will staff the library every morning, manage lending and book purchases, and receive requests – a nice complement to your pedagogical mission.

Formal Requirements:

• Licensed special educator or special teacher.
• Documented experience of pedagogical investigations, assessments, and support measures.
• Comfortable communicating well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
