Junior Engineer in Air Defense Systems

We are now looking for junior engineers who want to help shape the future of air defense systems. With us, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and varied projects that span the entire lifecycle of the systems – from new construction to modification and maintenance.

About the Position

As a systems engineer, you will participate in one of our ongoing projects that require various areas of expertise and where you will engage in project work to collaborate with other project members to achieve the project's goals. You will participate in work with configuration changes as well as in verification and validation work. You will support the project manager in their responsibility to carry out procurement/maintenance. You will also participate in meetings and work in preparation for deliveries, both internally within the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) and externally with suppliers and the Armed Forces. FMV's main task is to specify, review, and verify deliveries.

The position as a systems engineer may be combined with other tasks within the air defense unit, and the tasks may also change during the course of the projects. There are also good opportunities for employees to deepen their knowledge of specific systems through various internal training programs.

The position is located in Halmstad, and travel within Sweden and abroad is a natural part of the job.

About You

We are looking for someone who has a degree as a civil or university engineer or other relevant education for the field, alternatively other relevant competencies acquired in another way that we assess as equivalent. To succeed in the role, you need to have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English, as well as a B driver's license.

It is advantageous if you have experience working with technical systems, air defense systems, or have previously participated in project work.
