About the position

We are currently looking for systems engineers in the areas of Effect/Sensor/Command and Control for the Air Defense Unit at the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV). As a systems engineer, you will participate in one of our ongoing projects that require various areas of expertise and where you will collaborate with other project members to achieve the project's goals. You will participate in work with configuration changes as well as verification and validation work. You will support the project manager in their responsibility to carry out procurement/maintenance. You will also participate in meetings and work in preparation for deliveries, both internally within FMV and externally with suppliers and the Armed Forces.

The position as a Systems Engineer may be combined with other tasks within the air defense unit, and the tasks may also change during the course of the projects. There are also good opportunities for employees to deepen their knowledge of specific systems through various internal training programs.

To succeed in this role, you need to have a good ability to express yourself in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing, as well as a B driver's license.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with maintenance tasks within technical systems or with technically complex systems. Personal qualities are of great importance to us. We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds and experiences and are looking for someone who is self-driven, structured, and persistent, with a strong ability to collaborate and contribute to a team. Your experience allows you to see the big picture while also having the ability to work methodically and drive the work forward.
