Your Mission

As an analyst, you belong to a unit within the Signals Intelligence department. The department works with the collection of raw material, processing, and analysis, delivering intelligence reports and other services to the agency's clients.

In the role of analyst, your main tasks will be to take responsibility for assigned areas by analyzing at both operational and strategic levels, primarily in the form of:

• Understanding and translating collected information, partly in Russian and English
• Processing and analyzing various types of data and materials
• Monitoring developments and events within the production area
• Writing reports and presentations and adapting production to the client's needs

You will work both in groups and individually, and the position may require working under time pressure. Strong confidentiality applies to the position, and readiness and work during inconvenient hours may occur. Travel both domestically and internationally is included in the role.

You Can

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in analyzing complex materials and formulating results in written form
• Good computer skills
• Good reading and listening comprehension in Russian
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Knowledge of or interest in military affairs
• Experience from working within the Armed Forces or related authorities
• Knowledge of or interest in military maritime platforms
• Experience in signal intelligence or intelligence work
• Interest in security, foreign, and defense policy
• Experience from studies or work in areas where Russian is spoken

The workplace is located near Drottningholm, about 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. A requirement for employment is a successful security screening with a background check. The security screening will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act.
