Prototal is looking for a 3D Print Manager for Prototal Malmö.
This is a role for you who want to work closely with technology while having a clear connection to customers, quality, and development. Additive manufacturing is in constant motion, and in this position, you will be the one who keeps the whole together, from the first customer contact to the finished produced part. You will work both operationally and strategically and have a responsibility that is noticeable in everyday life.
About the role
As a 3D Print Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that production operates efficiently, that quality is at the right level, and that customers receive solutions that hold. This involves many contact points, both internally and externally, and a workday where technology, structure, and problem-solving go hand in hand.
You will work with:
Customer Responsibility and Technical Interpretation
• Ongoing dialogue with Swedish and international customers
• Translating customer needs into technical solutions
• Reviewing customer files in Magics and assessing manufacturability
• Advising on material selection, design adjustments, and production methods
• Order management, item revisions, and quotations
• Follow-up on sales, forecasts, and budget
Suppliers and Purchasing
• Contact with suppliers nationally and internationally
• Price negotiations, delivery monitoring, and transport booking
• Securing material availability
• Reporting on material consumption and costs
Production and quality are at the core of your daily work. Here, you will ensure that the right machine runs the right product at the right time. You are responsible for planning, following up on deviations, and quality-assuring parts before they proceed in the process. You work closely with operators and contribute to creating a clear and safe working environment.
Your profile
To thrive in this role, you need to enjoy working with technology combined with customer contact and planning. You need to be confident in making decisions and able to switch between details and the big picture. We are looking for someone with:
• Technical education or experience in additive manufacturing
• Good ability to read drawings and experience with CAD is a requirement
• Experience with customer and supplier contacts, preferably internationally
• Financial understanding, especially regarding budgets and forecasts
• Very good Swedish and English
Personally, you are structured, analytical, and communicative. You keep order even when the pace shifts, and you thrive in the borderland between operational work and long-term development.
This recruitment process
In this recruitment, Prototal collaborates with HIREQ. We apply a continuous selection process and would like to see your application as soon as possible. For further information regarding the position, you are warmly welcome to contact the responsible recruiter. We look forward to your application!
