Sea Freight Forwarder Wanted for International Logistics

Are you a meticulous and solution-oriented person with an interest in international logistics? We are now looking for a sea freight forwarder who wants to become an important part of the team and contribute to creating smooth transport solutions for our customers worldwide.

About the Role

In your role as a sea freight forwarder, you will have a coordinating role, maintaining daily contact with your customers and the ability to collaborate across functional boundaries within the organization. As a sea freight forwarder, you will work with a comprehensive solution involving sea transport, so you need to have some knowledge of transport methods and an interest in learning the processes that the work entails. You should have experience in sea freight or more complex road transport, not just A to B.

You will work from the office in Helsingborg as a sea freight forwarder. The position is a consulting assignment starting immediately and initially lasts for 6 months with possible extensions.

Responsibilities

• Build long-term relationships with customers and ensure good communication
• Be responsible for planning and coordinating bookings from both customers and colleagues in other offices
• Keep information and systems updated and accurate
• Receive and handle customer inquiries and needs
• Continuously follow up on customer satisfaction and ensure actions are taken when necessary
• Work with invoicing, pricing calculations, and volume assessments
• Ensure all documentation is complete and up to date

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong communication skills and is passionate about service
• Takes responsibility, is solution-oriented, and takes initiative
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Is accustomed to working in various systems and has good computer skills
• Has previous experience in similar tasks or relevant education
