About the department

At the allergy clinic, we work in teams; doctors, nurses, and medical secretaries together. We assess, investigate, and treat allergy and respiratory diseases. Our patients are 18 years or older and come to us on referral for doctor visits and/or nurse visits. We perform skin tests, spirometry, NO measurements, allergy vaccinations, and conduct drug provocations. We provide advice and evaluate ongoing treatments. We are located at the medical clinic at NÄL and are organizationally part of specialist medicine.

We are a small and pleasant unit with short decision-making paths; we are flexible and help each other.

At the clinic, we strive to offer our patients care characterized by knowledge, safety, and security. We believe it is important for the patient to be knowledgeable and involved in their care.

About the position

At the allergy clinic, you will work independently and in collaboration with the clinic's doctors. Sometimes alone but often together with another experienced nurse.

As a nurse, you will have a fun and varied job, both with patient contact during examinations and treatments, as well as with telephone advice and follow-up.

The allergy clinic is part of the medical clinic, and we help each other between the different clinics. Part of the time, after training, you may have tasks at another clinic.

Qualifications

Licensed nurse with a few years of experience in somatic care, preferably from different areas.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with and for people. You feel ready to develop in your professional role and learn a new specialty over time. You are good at seeing the whole picture and taking responsibility. You find it easy to collaborate and develop working methods in dialogue with others. As a person, you are secure, stable, and clear in your communication.

We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Other

There is an opportunity to combine work at the clinic with weekend duties in department 42 or department 51, specialist medicine.
