We are now looking for a self-driven dental nurse who understands the importance of good service and a positive attitude.

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Lerum, we work in a positive spirit where teamwork and the development of the business are natural elements.

We find challenges and innovative thinking exciting and strive to engage all employees in the clinic's development work. The staff consists of 33 employees, including 10 dentists, 4 dental hygienists, and 19 dental nurses. We operate according to the 7-19 model. The clinic has been newly renovated with 14 treatment rooms and panoramic X-ray. It is easy to reach Lerum, as we have good train and bus connections with frequent departures. If you prefer to drive, we offer free parking.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting in examinations and treatments
• Working with your own patients in prophylaxis treatments, onboarding, oral health counseling, or acclimatization treatments
• Working in sterilization and reception

We welcome students from dental hygienist and dental nurse programs.

Supervision/assistance of students may also be part of the job.

Qualifications and profile

• Trained dental nurse with an education from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your initial period. The mentoring program is part of our two-year development program for newly qualified dental nurses.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for week 51.

Folktandvården Västra Götaland will conduct checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.
