The primary care within Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organized into 4 local care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under good and close care. Each local care area is an economic unit led by a manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's medical advice, youth reception, and the local care department Näva, all of which are grant-funded.

Here we work together with colleagues from many different professions. Odensala Health Center, together with the Family Center Trädet, has about 65 employees where we utilize each other's skills and create good conditions for the patient.

With us, you will find general practitioners, district nurses/nurses, physiotherapists, nursing assistants, coordinators, and medical secretaries. We also have child health care and maternal health care staffed with pediatric nurses and midwives. Additionally, we have a psychosocial reception, an occupational therapist, and a rehabilitation coordinator working in the team around the sick leave process.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a medical secretary at Odensala Health Center, you are the spider in the web. Some of your tasks include medical documentation in the Cosmic journal system, handling referrals, telephone service, patient bookings, and other administration for the operation. We also help cover the reception.

You should enjoy providing service as the job involves contact with both patients and our various professional groups. We have daily morning meetings with all professional categories and weekly meetings and training within the secretary group. We offer an interesting, varied, responsible, and above all, a fun job. The placement is flexible between our units. The opportunity to work remotely about 1-2 days a week is offered.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has training or is about to complete training as a medical secretary, medical administrator, or healthcare administrator. Experience in primary care is an advantage but not a requirement. You should be open to new tasks and development work, enjoy patient contact, and thrive in the role of the "face of the health center".

We place great importance on personal qualities, the ability to organize your work effectively, take initiative, have good collaboration skills, and enjoy variation where tasks change.
