Your Role

Do you want to help drive technical sub-projects and product improvement projects in a high-tech environment?

We are looking for someone who wants to take an active role in our development and improvement projects - planning, coordinating, and driving the work forward - while still keeping a foothold in the technology.

As a technical sub-project manager, you will be a key person in our team. You will be responsible for keeping the work together within the electronics area, but the projects often span mechanics and software as well. You will plan and follow up on activities, coordinate between different disciplines, and ensure that the right resources are in place to achieve the project's goals.

This role is perfect for you who have a technical interest and are curious about electronics, but it can also be an excellent career step for those currently working in electronics development who want to move towards a more leading and coordinating role. In the long run, there is also the opportunity to take on broader system responsibilities, depending on your background and skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving and following up on technical sub-projects and product care issues with a focus on the electronics area, where the projects often also include mechanics and software aspects. You will plan and coordinate activities between relevant functions within design, testing, production, and purchasing, and ensure that the work is carried out according to plan. If necessary, you will participate in technical discussions and analyses to support problem-solving and technical decisions. The role also involves responsibility for documentation and reporting on project status, results, and decisions, as well as contributing to improvements in working methods, routines, and processes within the organization.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a technical interest, preferably an understanding of electronics, who enjoys combining structure and technology. You like to collaborate, communicate, and create conditions for others to succeed - and you take responsibility for getting things done.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have a few years of experience in technology development, preferably within electronics. You are a communicative and collaborative person who works in a structured and meticulous manner, takes responsibility, finds solutions, and contributes with a positive and unpretentious attitude.

Meritorious:

• Experience in technical project management, sub-project management, or product care
• University degree in electronics or mechatronics
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., IFS)

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
