About Us

As a designer with us, you will work in product support projects within our military engine programs. The most important thing is that you have the ability to take your own initiatives while collaborating effectively with others to drive the work forward.

You will be working on updating and creating drawings and CAD models based on approved change proposals. Together with the team, you will drive the change flow from start to finish. You will motivate and document the change in our systems and collaborate with various functions to ensure that the information is correct and follows our operational system.

Part of the work involves creating and modifying 3D models and drawings of high quality, where you can combine technical precision with creative problem-solving – and sometimes it is in the details where the fun begins.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with an engineering degree in mechanical engineering, mechanics, product development, or a similar field. Alternatively, you have built up equivalent competence through extensive professional experience. You have more than two years of experience working as a mechanical designer and working in a CAD environment (NX) and handling PLM system (Teamcenter). Understanding geometric definition of complex components such as dimensioning and tolerance setting.

Meritorious

• Experience in design work within combustion engines
• Good knowledge of product definition, 2D drawings, dimensioning, tolerances, form, and position
• Experience working with products governed by export control regulations
• Good knowledge of manufacturing methods and how they affect product properties
• Knowledge in design for additive manufacturing (AM/3D printing)
• Experience in lightweight constructions in high-strength steel or composite materials
