Expedition Guard at the Administrative Court in Gothenburg

The Administrative Court in Gothenburg is the second largest of Sweden's four administrative courts. The court's main task is to review cases that are appealed from the administrative courts in Gothenburg, Karlstad, and Malmö. The court handles a large number of case types, the most common being social insurance cases, tax cases, procurement cases, cases under the Social Services Act, cases concerning legality review under the Local Government Act, and various cases concerning coercion against individuals.

The court is centrally located in Gothenburg and has approximately 110 employees. The organization consists of three adjudicating departments and one administrative department, which includes the case administration unit, service unit, and administrative office unit.

We are looking for an expedition guard for the court's service unit, who is highly engaged in service, security, and interaction with people.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible, together with your closest colleagues in the service unit, for ensuring that the court's employees and visitors are well received, receive good service, and feel safe in the court's premises. The work in the unit is led by the service manager.

Your main job responsibilities will include:

• Staffing the court's security check and reception.
• Establishing order and security in public areas and attending hearings as needed.
• Ensuring that the court's visitors are well received, provided with information, and receive good service.
• Providing technical support in the hearing rooms.
• Managing alarm and access systems.
• Providing ongoing internal service, such as mail handling, minor property maintenance, setting up and furnishing workspaces, etc.
• Maintaining contact with property owners, contractors, and others.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A minimum of a high school education or equivalent qualifications that we deem relevant for employment.
• A valid security guard license.
• Experience in similar job responsibilities that we deem relevant for employment.
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Previous experience with video conferencing technology, surveillance cameras, or similar technology-related tasks may be advantageous.
