Project Planner in Production

About the Role

Sourcing & Production Gothenburg is a delivery unit consisting of approximately 400 employees, where all Radar Solutions purchases and deliveries are gathered in one organizational unit. As a Project Planner, you will be part of the project team within Sourcing and Production and work with development, purchasing, project management, and production. You will be responsible for monitoring and planning purchases and manufacturing according to project schedules. This could involve helping a customer whose product has broken down to ensure they receive a new one. It may also involve exploring the possibility of finding a new supplier or reviewing environmental requirements.

As a Project Planner, you will receive support from your sub-project leader, whom you will also update on how processes and projects are progressing. Your work will largely involve communication and follow-up with various teams and groups, in addition to the continuous contact you have with the sub-project leader. Travel, both domestic and international, may occur in this role.

As a Project Planner, you will:

• Ensure timely material supply for order start in production.
• Perform administrative tasks.
• Be responsible for change orders.
• Report planning status.

To take on the role of Project Planner, you need to have a genuine technical interest in addition to the requirements below. You need to be communicative, driven, and structured. You thrive in a role with many balls in the air and enjoy working solution-oriented. It is important that you can work in a structured and meticulous manner. As a Project Planner, you also need to have good collaboration skills and be able to be effective.

Requirements

• Work experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, such as mechanical engineering, industrial economics, logistics, production engineering, supply chain, or a similar field.
• Fluent in Swedish & English, both spoken and written.
• Swedish citizenship.

Meritorious

• Previous work experience in production and/or material planning.
• Previous experience with Antura and/or IFS/MPS-like systems.
