What is required for the railway of the future to function - for real? It requires cutting-edge technology, but also people who can collaborate, analyze, and think holistically. As a technical engineer at the Swedish Transport Administration, you will participate in the work of renewing and digitizing Sweden's railway system.

Technical Engineer for Future Infrastructure Responsibilities

At the Swedish Transport Administration, you as a technical engineer have the opportunity to contribute to the railway of the future - a sustainable, efficient, and digital transport system. In our team, you will work on the implementation of a new signaling system on the railway, where digitization and collaboration with railway companies and vehicle owners are central. You will have the opportunity to learn about onboard systems - the systems in the trains - and ensure that the subsystems work as an integrated whole.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders. You will conduct analyses and investigations focusing on compatibility between subsystems and support the project manager and the team in dialogue and coordination with the industry.

My name is Anna Jernlund, and I am your immediate manager. I believe in trust, dialogue, and creating a strong work environment where we develop and deliver together. If you want to help shape a modern and sustainable railway - you are warmly welcome to us!
