Södertull Health Center

Your health center is located in the southern part of central Gävle in beautiful old buildings with history. The health center is within cycling distance from the train station and has good bus connections. With approximately 7,500 registered patients, we are among the largest publicly operated health centers in Gävle, staffed by around 45 employees. We who work here are proud of our health center, and we have high medical competence and stable staffing. We profile ourselves as a training center for our future specialists and have about 15 training doctors under our wings and several permanent specialists.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Our conviction is that constant dialogue among us colleagues leads to an improved work environment for both experienced and inexperienced staff. We address problem areas and success factors and actively review our medical results and areas for development. We have fun together and are proud of how well our workplace is developing.

As a general practitioner with us, you will work with:

• supervising doctors in training
• outpatient work
• acute patients in our emergency team
• participating in and leading our multidisciplinary teams
• actively taking initiatives to improve and develop our operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is flexible and engaged and enjoys collaborating with all professions at the health center. You should be responsible and have the ability to meet people in a professional and empathetic manner. You should be committed and interested in the work and development of the health center and appreciate a good work climate and contribute to creating a pleasant workplace. You should enjoy supervising and be part of our work to educate the future general practitioners in primary care.

In the role of general practitioner, you should have:

• Swedish medical license
• specialist training in general medicine
• supervisory training
• good communication skills and be able to express yourself well in speech and writing.
