Hofors Your Health Center

Your health center provides standard primary care. Here we have doctors, a child health center (BVC), district nurse and nursing reception, assistant nurse reception, sampling, a psychosocial team, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation coordinators, and medical secretaries. The premises also include a maternity clinic. We have about 40 employees at our unit and we hold regular professional group meetings. We work to make good care even better and focus on what is valuable for patients; from medical quality to good opening hours and a friendly reception. Our health center aims to provide safe care when someone needs it and works according to our guiding principles Always-Close-Safe.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The mission of child health care is regulated by the National Handbook, the health choice handbook, and child health care. The work at the child health care center at the health center involves independent work at BVC with vaccination reception, home visits, telephone counseling, and leading parent groups together with other actors at the health center.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is flexible, responsible, and solution-focused with good collaboration skills, and you have a good reception. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities.

In the role of BVC nurse, you should:

• be a licensed nurse with a specialist nursing degree as a district nurse including prescribing rights or a nurse with a focus on child and adolescent health care including prescribing rights
• valid B driver's license.

For this position, it is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience of child health care guidelines for BHV/BVC.

Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented.
