Then look here! We are now seeking welding engineers or welding specialists for specific assignments in the aerospace and defense industry. You will work with a wide range of tasks, from daily production support to the development of new products and technologies. You will help ensure that the customer creates capable manufacturing processes regarding welding and that the products have the right conditions to be delivered with world-class quality.

The company is currently facing exciting challenges with an accelerating AM journey and a growing share of welded products.

You will belong to a great team of specialists and work on exciting projects while supporting daily production.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, improving, and qualifying processes through work on welding parameters
• Automation of welding processes and fixture development
• Providing specialist knowledge in various types of development projects
• Monitoring and analyzing process capability
• Reviewing production drawings
• Participating in investments and implementation of new technology
• Assessing and reviewing product manufacturability
• Assisting in the development of training materials and training, instructing, and certifying welding operators
• Introducing new methods, equipment, instructions, and procedures in welding
• Continuously improving welding processes and existing working methods

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a technical university degree, vocational education in production technology, or other relevant education/experience. IWE, IWT, or IWS training is a plus. Since we operate in a global environment, you need to have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, in addition to Swedish.

It is advantageous if you have any of the following to succeed in the role:

• Relevant experience in welding
• Analytical skills and being a good problem solver
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Good communication skills and ability to build good relationships
• Driven and enjoy collaborating with others
• Ability to work flexibly and quality-oriented to find technical and sustainable solutions of high quality
• Experience or knowledge of welding methods such as LBW, GTAW, EBW, PAW, and RW
• Experience and knowledge of Additive Manufacturing
• Experience in production technology work
• Knowledge of robotics and automation
• Knowledge of materials in the aerospace industry such as titanium and superalloys
