A Job Close to Life and Death

With us, you build trust and confidence with our customers and are the guide in a time that for many is filled with sorrow and uncertainty. Working with funerals is varied, eventful, and requires a good understanding of people's wishes. Some of the tasks as a transporter and ceremony host include:

• Acting as a representative in churches and chapels during ceremonies, which means overall responsibility for ensuring the ceremony meets the customer's order satisfactorily
• Handling the deceased in preparation for the ceremony
• Performing pickups of the deceased in private homes and care facilities
• Assisting our customers during personal farewells

To our transport unit in Western Södermanland, which performs pickups of the deceased, we are looking for a new colleague to join our team. The position is a full-time temporary position starting immediately or as agreed until 2026-08-31, with a good chance of extension.

What You Bring

• Have a driver's license and good driving experience with larger vehicles in urban environments
• Have good physical condition as several heavy lifts occur in the work
• You are structured and have a very good ability to plan and organize your work even when the pace varies
• Experience in customer-focused work
• Good administrative skills and familiarity with various business systems are an advantage
• Willingness to work outside office hours: Currently, we work on an eight-week schedule, where evening and weekend work occurs
• It is an advantage if you speak multiple languages or have experience in our or related fields
