The Social Office in Strängnäs municipality is currently divided into six operational areas: Authority, individual and family care, elderly care, disability care, health care, and administration and digitization.

At the social office, we work with authority exercises for children, young people, and adults. We have two units: the Investigation Unit and the Reception and Family Unit. We sit close to each other and collaborate closely – here it is easy to ask questions, share knowledge, and support each other. Each unit has two team leaders, and these four work closely together in everyday life and cover for each other in case of absence.

We are now looking for three team leaders

We are looking for three team leaders distributed across these two units, two for the Investigation Unit and one for the Reception and Family Unit with a focus on foster care secretary and child secretary.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a team leader, you are responsible for ensuring that the daily work in the unit maintains a high quality. You support and develop the caseworkers throughout the entire case management process with a coaching approach that makes a difference. On behalf of the unit manager, you lead and distribute the work and provide support in prioritizations and case guidance.

You are four team leaders who collaborate closely and cover for each other when needed, even across unit boundaries. The role also involves collaboration with clients and their networks, with other units within the social office, and with external actors. You lead the work based on our guidelines and routines and contribute to an open and professional work climate.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have:

• a degree in social work or behavioral science with additional training that meets the eligibility requirements for social workers.
• experience of authority exercises in relevant areas for the positions.
• experience as a caseworker within the unit's areas of responsibility.
• very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• good ability to use IT as a support in work, e.g., Office package, Teams, etc.
• A driving license (B).

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• training/experience in Signs of Safety or similar.
• training/experience in FREDA, Sara/Patriarch, MI.
• documented leadership experience, particularly within the authority exercises of social services.
• experience working in the operational system Treserva.
