Full-time with a social young man, fixed schedule during daytime Monday–Friday with secure employment and meaningful tasks.

We are now looking for a personal assistant who wants to work with one of our clients, an adult young man with a significant physical disability. In your role as an assistant, you will help our client with everything related to daily life, and we are therefore looking for a personal assistant who has experience in helping with the most personal matters with great respect and humility. You should also be attentive and have the ability to read body language and less obvious signals since the client has no speech ability but is social and wishes to communicate with his surroundings. You will primarily assist the client in the home he shares with his family, consisting of parents and siblings, which places special demands on your professionalism.

To be suitable for this position, you need to be calm, attentive, resourceful, and punctual. You should be in good physical shape as heavier lifting may occur, and you should feel comfortable taking responsibility and working independently. During outings and activities outside the home, our client uses his own car, so a driver's license is a requirement for the position. In the search for the right person, great importance will be placed on personal suitability, and previous experience in similar work will be an advantage.

The family lives outside Eskilstuna, which requires you to have a car as there is no available public transport. They have a strong interest in animals, so you should not be allergic or have any objections to being around animals.

The position being advertised is a full-time position. Working hours are mainly during the day, but it is an advantage if you can be flexible and sometimes have the opportunity to work extra, for example, during a colleague's sick leave.
